Before Tanning:

  • Wax before tanning or shave the day/night before; wax residue will block tanner absorption. DO NOT shave or wax the day of the tanning session, you can shave the following day.
  • Take a shower and ex foliate using a washcloth or exfoliating pad or scrub the DAY BEFORE the session only from elbows and knees, not entire body.
  • Come with clean skin free of, makeup, perfume or moisturizers prior to tanning. Do not use lotion the day of the tan. Lotions can act as a barrier & prevent the solution from contacting your skin.
  • You may tan in the garment of your choice or ladies may be sprayed nude. Bathing suits and underwear work well and Men are required to wear underwear, boxer shorts or bathing suit.
  • Wear loose fitting dark clothing and flip flops because some bronzer can rub off on your clothing.

Immediately After Tanning: DON’T SWEAT AND DON’T GET WET

  • Wash hands and tops of feet with water and paper towel in 3-4 hours, or they will get very dark.
  • Do not exercise the first day.
  • Do not swim the first day.
  • Do not apply moisturizer the first day.

Maintain and Prolong your tan:

  • Wait at least 8 hours before showering. Recommended next day. You may see color washing off the first time you shower, this is normal.
  • Apply Moisturizer after showering and every day after your tanning session. This will help prolong your tan.
  • Chlorine from pool or jacuzzi can cause tan to fade faster.
